Friday, Jan. 6 at The Barrington Coffee House (originals show and Local 241 reunion) and Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays Friends,
As we're well into the Holiday season (merry Christmas today), Slightly Sedated would like to wish everyone tidings of joy and a very happy holiday. As we turn the corner on 2011/2012 and head into the New Year, we also wanted to invite you out to catch our "all originals show" at the Barrington Coffee House (also known as the BCH) in Barrington, NJ on Friday, Jan. 6. The BCH is known for a wonderfully eclectic mix of original music, specializing in showcasing both locally and nationally famous (or soon to be famous) songwriters.
This is a perfect opportunity for our South Jersey friends to see us, and it's just 5-6 miles over the Walt Whitman Bridge for our PA fans. Hosted and managed by our friend, former band-mate, and former Local 241 PWB designer Scott Triffeletti, this is also a perfect chance for the old RCA Camden crew to have a mini-reunion, and hope some you can make it out for both the music and an evening of nostalgic comradery. Opening for us at 8:00 will be the duo "Color of Skies" (a Folk / Blues / Story tellin' / Travelin Snake Oil Medicine Show act), and we'll be featuring songs from both of our CD releases as well as some new, yet to be recorded material. This is a ticketed venue, so you may want to purchase on-line ahead of time at www.barringtoncoffeehouse.com.  This show will probably sell out!!!
So have yourself a "sedated" little Christmas, ring in a Happy New Year, and we hope to see you in 2012 on the other side (of the New Year and of the river) at The Barrington Coffee House on Fri. night, January 6.
Deck the Halls,
Slightly Sedated
