June Newsletter - Stone Tavern (6/10) and Market at Liberty Place (6/17)
Sedated Friends and Fans,
     Summer's upon us and before we take the month of July off, there's plenty of June action, as both the full band and our "Unplugged" duo have shows at the Stone Tavern in West Chester (Sat. June 10) and The Market at Liberty Place in Kennett Square (Sat. June 17).   Additionally, there's a Rose Tree Pops concert at Rose Tree Park (Sat. June 24) and the Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra's production of Cole Porter's High Society (June 1-3) at Strath Haven Middle School in Wallingford.  Truly a busy month and here are the details:

• June 1-3 - Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra's production of Cole Porter's "High Society"  at Strath Haven Middle School, Wallingford, PA (https://www.rvco.org/)
  Steve will be playing in the pit orchestra for Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra's production of Cole Porter's "High Society" musical.  Performances are at Strath Haven Middle School on June 1-3, so check out the website at https://www.rvco.org/ for date and time details.
  
• Sat. June 10 (8:00-11:00) - "Unplugged" Duo at The Stone Tavern - West Chester, PA (https://www.thestonetavern1867.com/)
  Formerly known as the "Blarney Stone", this iconic Irish Pub has been reimagined, redesigned and reinvigorated into The Stone Tavern 1867 - with a wee bit o’ Blarney.  It is truly a charming combination of 150 year old reclaimed wood, stone, and mortar with accents of copper, cobblestone, mature landscape and décor of the old country – both historic Chester County and that of Donegal.  The "Stone" takes pride in their house made menu items and cooking from scratch with quality ingredients from their local butcher. • Sat. June 17 (6:00-10:00) - Full Band at The Market at Liberty Place - Kennett Square, PA (http://themarketatlibertyplace.com/)
  As our resident regular home in Kennett Square, The Market at Liberty Place is a 10,000 square foot space (a mini-Reading Terminal), that's home to an exciting mix of merchants selling freshly prepared foods, produce, and other retail goods. • Sat. June 24 (7:30) - Rose Tree Pops Orchestra at Rose Tree Park - Media, PA (https://rosetreepops.org/concerts.html)
  Perfect for a summer evening, the Rose Tree Park amphiteater host the Rose Tree Pops Orchestra concert, featuring music by Verdi (Nabucco), Bizet (Carmen), Gershwin (An American in Paris), Rozsa (Parade of the Charioteers), as well a a Saint-Saens Cello concerto, Moonlight in Vermont and You'll Never Walk Alone (Everton's theme).  As a special treat, our Big Band Jazz ensemble will be performing the Benny Goodman hit, "Sing, Sing, Sing".
  

    Plenty of musical variety to choose from, so mark those calendars, and we hope you come out to enjoy one (or more) of these shows.
