Brittingham's - March 5 ...and... Riddle Ale House - March 12 ...and... Our
Songs on earBuzz.com
Slightly Sedated Fans,
As we all get ready to "Beware The Ides of March" and
to build party momentum for St. Patrick's Day, Slightly Sedated will be at a
saloon near you in March as we return to two of our favorite venues in the
Delaware Valley, so here's the scoop.
Sat. Night March
5 - we'll be at Brittingham's Irish Pub in
Lafayette Hill, PA. It's always St. Patrick's Day
at Brittingham's as there's Guiness on tap and the Tullymore Dew
is front and center on the shelf (and always a fresh bottle
opening). Though we're not a traditional Irish band, we are
"Slightly Irish me Brother" and at Brittingham's we always
feature a wee bit'o the green and play some celtic punk (a la
Dropkick Murphies) as well as our "Slightly Irish Drinking Song"
and leprechauns spring forth to dance a jig in your mind, warm
your soul as you be a'sippin, and perhaps you'll catch one and
the subsequent pot'o'gold. Barkeeps Terry and Pete are always
happy to serve you with a brogue what'ere you be drinkin' and
host Mike may even be there with a Ned Devine'ish grin on his
face, so wear some green and skip on out to Brittingham's on
March 5.

Sat. Night March
12 - we'll return to the Riddle Ale House
in Media (or is it Lima) PA. The Riddle Ale House
features a great menu and is renowned for it's dining as well as
it's music. As we'll be back in Delaware County, we'll be
featuring our hit single "Delco Barbie", our Cake repertoire,
and some new Zappa tunes (they seem to go over well in Delco),
as well as a mystery musician or two (or three). Since we're
trying to entice you to come out, we will give no hints, but you
may be surprised by who could end up on stage with us that
night. To top that all off, one of us is celebrating their
birthday that night (the youngest looking member of the band),
so it should truly be a festive evening at the Riddle Ale House
and you do not want to miss it.

How about some other big news for our
friends and fans!!! Our music is now available on-line from
earbuzz.com and will also be distributed through iTunes, Amazon,
Napster, Rhapsody and more. Yes, we're hoping we can finally go viral, and you
can download singles, full albums, even order physical CDs (with fancy album
graphics) directly from earbuzz.com and you can find your way there by a number
of means.
- you can go to our site at
www.slightlysedated.net and purchase our tunes (directly from earBuzz)
- you can go directly to our earbuzz.com site at
www.earbuzz.com/slightlysedated
- or (soon) you can search for our CDs and individual songs directly though
iTunes (and scads of other music download sites) - coming soon!!
We know a number of you have purchased (or were comp'ed)
with some of our CDs, so we would appreciate it if you spread the word and tell
your friends. Both of our CDs (Middle Age Maladies and
Don't Turn to the Left) and our entire anthology of
individual songs are there, waiting to be discovered and enjoyed, so help us go
viral. We promise to remember you when we're rich and famous (or even just
famous), and maybe we'll even soon get with the whole youTube thing...lol.
I guess this really turned into a "newsletter" this month as we had a lot to
communicate. Online and going viral with our originals, a birthday, mystery
musicians, a St. Patty's pre-party, and two of our favorite venues to entertain
you, so take a Sharpie to the ole calendar on the fridge, mark the dates, and we
hope to see you at Brittingham's Irish Pub on March 5, or The Riddle
Ale House on March 12 .... or both .... woohoo and what a month.
