Hey Slightly Sedated Friends,
The Thanksgiving holiday is coming up and as we celebrate,
and turn the corner into the holiday season, Slightly Sedated has 3 shows lined
up to help you ramp up your festiveness. Not only that, but we have a couple
bonus bands appearing with us, so you've got lot's of interesting choices. We
hope you can make it out to one, two or all three ... and have some fun.
Here's a little synopsis on the upcoming gig lineup.
Sat. Nov. 19 (9:00-1:00) - The Riddle Ale
House, Media, PA (website -

Always a great crowd and a nice choice for a fine meal before or
along with our show, the Riddle Ale House is a great spot for
our Media area friends. With it's proximity to the Granite Run
Mall, you can beat the Black Friday crowds and even get in a
little early holiday shopping. As a special added attraction
we'll be joined by "Bigmouth House" (link
here) doing a mini-set with us, an exciting and talented
band, featuring our friends Dave and Chip.
Weds. Nov. 23 (9:00-1:00) - The Sundance
Saloon, Aston, PA
The Wednesday night before Thanksgiving is always a great party
night, and The Sundance has a tradition of hosting great
pre-Thanksgiving kickoff galas. The crowd there includes a
generous portion of Zappaphiles, so we'll let our hair down and
roll out our complete collection of "Frank Favorites", and we'll
toast all of the "Catholic Girls". As a special attraction the
"Mark Baker Band" will open the evening at 8:00pm. Mark's a
fabulous blues/rock guitarist and has done a number of
pre-Thanksgiving shows at the Sundance, so let's welcome his new
band and see what special sounds he's cooking up.
Sat. Dec. 3 - Cawley's Irish Pub, Upper Darby,

We're very excited to bring our show to Cawley's (a new venue
for us) as it will allow us to fully express our Gaelic roots.
As many of you know, we feature a mix of Celtic punk (lot os
Dropkick Murphies) and traditional Irish (our very own "Slightly
Irish Drinking Song") and the Jamisons (and Tullymore Dew) will
be flowing through our veins as we rock out Cawley's Irish Pub.
Located on the West Chester Pike (Rt. 3) just about a mile east
of Rt. 1. As an Irish Pub, you'll exeperience the warm
atmosphere and jovial "good craic" that embodies Cawley's and
we're looking forward to hoisting a few with you .... Slainte'.
So there you have it, 3 weeks, 3 Delaware Valley shows, and 3
great chances to get "Slightly" with us. Tell your friends, bring some along
with you, and get out to enjoy an evening of fun, frivolity, and musical mayhem
that is the "Slightly Sedated" experience.
