Sedated Friends and Fans,
     Happy New Year as we kick off 2026 with a busy January.  We've got lots of variety ahead, as "Slightly Unplugged" does DiFabio's on Sat. Jan. 3, and Monaghan's on Fri. Jan. 16, "Slightly Sedated" does the R Park Tavern on Sat. Jan. 10 and the Market at Liberty Place on Fri. Jan. 30, and the "Aston Brass Band" heads to The Mill at Rockdale on Sun. Jan. 11. ..... whew.  We hope you can get out to one of these shows and hope you kick off a wonderful 2026.
Here are the details in a more chronological order.

• Sat. Jan. 3 - (6:00-9:00) - "Slightly Unplugged" at DiFabio's Sky Bar - Media, PA (https://difabiosevents.com/)
  A new venue for our duo, the Sky Bar is the perfect place to catch our show, and drink, dance, sing along or dine. DiFabio’s offers traditional favorites such as veal marsala, eggplant parmesan, and grilled sausage with white beans & broccoli rabe. Additionally, their chefs offer unique weekly specials and creative menu options that are sure to please. The restaurant itself has a casual environment boasting an old world ambience with a more updated feel.
  If you are looking to enjoy a delicious glass of wine, a creative cocktail or an ice cold beer from their fifteen selections, and stellar service DiFabio’s has what your looking for and more. DiFabio’s restaurant, the tap room and our newest and swankiest addition, the Sky Bar (where we're playing) are conveniently located on Route 252 directly off Route 1 Bypass in Media.
• Sat. Jan. 10 (7:00-10:00) - Full Band at The R Park Tavern - Ridley Park, PA (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076206070900)
  One of Delco's hidden treasures, the R Park Tavern is a friendly and cozy neighborhood tavern with a delicious and varied pub grub menu that the locals rave about.  The "R Park" is easy to get to, located on Sellers Ave., just minutes from I-95 (Stewart Ave. exit).  "R Park" stands for Ridley Park of course, and we're hoping many of our Delco friends can make it out to enjoy the R Park hospitality, conviviality, food and drink, and our music.
• Sun. Jan. 11 (12:00pm) - "Aston Brass Band" at The Mill at Rockdale ** Funk Brunch ** - Aston, PA  (https://www.themillrockdale.com/)
  The Mill at Rockdale is a brand new performance space built by the Rockdale Music School folks, and the "Aston Brass Band" is sharing the bill with Dave Mattock and Funktap at this "Funk Brunch" matinee.  We'll be bringing our funkiest New Orleans style brass band stylings to the stage with numbers by the Rebirth, Treme, Hot 8, Dirty Dozen and Funky Chops Brass Bands.  The Mill at Rockdale is truly a unique space and tickets ($20) for this show are available at https://picklejarlive.com/events/funk-brunch/.
  
• Fri. Jan. 16 - (7:00-10:00) - "Slightly Unplugged" Duo at Monaghan's Irish Pub, Essington, PA  (https://www.monaghanspub.com/)
  John and Steve return for a Friday night "Unplugged" acoustic show, which means a good chance for you to enjoy our music at our favorite Irish pub.  Monaghan's is the coziest Irish Pub in Delco with the biggest and most delicious pub grub menu you'll ever experience.  With Wings, Sliders, Steaks, Hoagies, Flatbreads and a long list of appetizers, and they also feature a number of local craft brews on tap from Troegs, Victory Brewing, Golden Road, 2SP and Guinness (of course).  We often stay after our show just to eat at Monaghan's.  Full Menu and directions are available at https://www.monaghanspub.com/.
• Sat. Jan. 30 (6:00-10:00) - Full Band at The Market at Liberty Place, Kennett Square, PA (http://themarketatlibertyplace.com/)
  As our resident regular home in Kennett Square, The Market at Liberty Place is a 10,000 square foot space (a mini-Reading Terminal), that's home to an exciting mix of merchants selling freshly prepared foods, produce, and other retail goods.
