Music Lovers,
     In July Slightly Sedated goes on summer vacation, but Slightly Unplugged, the Aston Brass Band, and the Rose Tree Pops Jazz Combo are in action, and they'll be doing some bars, some outdoor summer concerts, and a senior community.  Here are the details, and we hope to see you at one (or more) of these events

• Sat. July 5 - (2:00-5:00) -(2:00-5:00) - "Slightly Unplugged" Duo at Monaghan's Irish Pub, Essington, PA  (https://www.monaghanspub.com/)
  John and Steve return for a Sunday afternoon "Unplugged" acoustic show, which means a good chance for you to enjoy our music at our favorite Irish pub and do some day drinking.  Monaghan's is the coziest Irish Pub in Delco with the biggest and most delicious pub grub menu you'll ever experience.  With Wings, Sliders, Steaks, Hoagies, Flatbreads and a long list of appetizers, and they also feature a number of local craft brews on tap from Troegs, Victory Brewing, Golden Road, 2SP and Guinness (of course).  We often stay after our show just to eat at Monaghan's....it's just that delicious!  Full Menu and directions are available at https://www.monaghanspub.com/.
  
• Thurs. July 9 - (7:00)  - "Rose Tree Pops Jazz Combo" at Concord Twp. Park -

  Come on out for an evening of jazz standards from a select group of Rose Tree Pops Orchestra members.  This 8 pc. ensemle will bring toe-tappin' rhythms and sizzling solos to Concord Township for a fun evening.
  
• Thurs. July 16 (6:30-8:30) - "Aston Brass Band" at John Kugler Park, Norwood, PA (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064442061657#)
  Nothing beats a summer concert setting than listening to funky brass and dixieland, and that's what the Aston Brass Band has in store for you at this park in Norwood.  From Chester Pike turn toward the river on E. Winona Ave which dead-ends at the Park. Bring those lawn chairs and settle in for 2 sets of Delco's finest New Orleans style brass band.
• Sat. July 18 - (7:30-10:30) - The "Aston Brass Band" at The R Park Tavern, Ridley Park, PA (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100075941375325)
  The Aston Brass Band returns to the R Park Tavern with lots of new songs in tow.  Built on New Orleans style brass bands, we've added a Dirty Dozen Brass Band classic, as well as several new Dixieland tunes, a new Louie Prima swing song and even a Questlove brass band collaboration.  We might even debut our first original "Just Sayin". This is truly a unique show, authenticly New Orleans, and we're grateful to the R Park Tavern for supporting jazz in Delaware County.
  One of Delco's hidden treasures, the R Park Tavern is a friendly and cozy neighborhood tavern with a delicious and varied pub grub menu that the locals rave about.  The "R Park" is easy to get to, located on Sellers Ave., just minutes from I-95 (Stewart Ave. exit).  "R Park" stands for Ridley Park of course, and we're hoping many of our Delco friends can make it out to enjoy the R Park hospitality, conviviality, food and drink, and our music.
• Sun. July 19 - (6:00-8:00)  - "Rose Tree Pops Jazz Combo" at Messiah Lutheran Church. Downingtown, PA -

  The Rose Tree Pops Jazz Combo entertains Messiah Lutheran's congregation with an evening of jazz standards.
  
• Sun. July 26 (3:00-4:00) - "Aston Brass Band" at Plush Mills Senior Community, Wallingford, PA, PA (https://plushmills.com/)
  A nice Sunday afternoon outing for us entertaining seniors and their families at Plush Mill.
